Trying to learn landscape painting... The light was not the best here. I think the composition needs tweaking also. But there are parts I love.

Beside Doe Lake

Another painting from Frontenac Park. The path comes very near the lake at this spot and disappears in the distance. I liked the play of light and shadows. I'm also trying to work on water reflections and this gave me a chance to do that as well.

Newest Guitar

I currently have a new guitar. And a very fancy one at that.


Every time I take my guitar out of its' case somebody climbs in and gets comfy.


Apparently it is THE place to be even if you have to cram your big black self into the tiny space the guitar neck fits into. Of course that brings you closer enough that you can poke your buddy and get him to leave.


And then you can have the big spot all to yourself to relax in.


My cats are clearly hard done by.

Another painting from Doe Lake in Frontenac Park. This little point of boulders was a surprise but the light reflecting in and around the rocks and lily pads was amazing.
